Horizon Drift

“Horizon Drift by Yasi Azad” captures the quiet meeting point between sky and land—an abstracted horizon that feels both expansive and intimate. The composition is intentionally minimal, allowing the viewer to linger in the subtle transition between elements rather than defined forms.

Layers of acrylic create a softly textured surface, where pigments blend seamlessly from airy blue into a pale, sandy terrain. The gentle diffusion of color mimics the natural fading of distance—suggesting atmosphere, light, and the passage of time without rigid boundaries. The brushwork remains delicate, almost weightless, enhancing the sense of openness.

A serene palette of oceanic blue, soft ivory, and warm beige establishes a calming, meditative tone. The upper field carries a cool depth, while the lower section grounds the piece in warmth—creating a balanced dialogue between sky and earth.

Ideal for contemporary interiors, this artwork complements coastal, minimalist, and modern organic spaces. Whether placed above a sofa, bed, or console, it brings a sense of quiet expansiveness—inviting breath, clarity, and understated sophistication into the room.
